The sequel to the ridiculously popular EA Games title The Sims has gone gold for release on September 14th. The much-anticipated title features new levels of gameplay immersion, including genetics that allow you to progress your sim's entire life and pass his or her genetic code on through generations. You can also choose personality traits for your sim and control what they do in life. Overall, the game looks to be pretty good, and I'm looking forward to doing more to my poor virtual self then building it into a small, unlit room and putting sad clown paintings all around him to slowly drive him crazy.
