Toshiba's sleek new sound bars eliminate the need to identify listening "sweet spots," as users are able to hear accurate, balanced and powerful sound wherever they are within the room. The sound bars are versatile enough to fit into a variety of different spaces in the home and are extremely easy to set up; complex calibration and additional cable connections are not necessary. A simple-to-use remote control is also included with each product.

"These new offerings perfectly complement Toshiba's expansive TV lineup, particularly the thinner LED designs. As consumers are investing more in TVs, they are eager for a fully immersive home entertainment experience, and that's what the Mini 3D Sound Bar and 3D Sound Bar SBX1250 offer," said Paul Collas, director of product marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Life Products and Services. "Our new sound bars employ advanced wave field synthesis to wrap rich, realistic three-dimensional sound around everyone in the room, ensuring that dead spots are a thing of the past. We are truly redefining what immersive sound is all about by providing consumers with 3D sound solutions at affordable prices."

Mini 3D Sound Bar with Subwoofer: Small in Size, Big in Sound
Toshiba's plug-and-play Mini 3D Sound Bar with Subwoofer offers consumers a simple way to introduce robust audio to their entertainment experience in the home by delivering a total peak power of 90 watts. Measuring in at a mere 11.4 inches long by 3.9 inches wide and only 2.8 inches high, its uniquely compact design allows it to be placed within confined spaces, including home offices, dorm rooms and kitchen countertops, to add a boost in sound without adding much to the space taken up by a TV. The Mini 3D Sound Bar offers users up to five different ways to connect to a device, including two analog connections, two digital connections and Bluetooth® wireless technology that makes it possible for users to link the sound bar to mobile consumer electronics including tablets, PCs and smartphones to wirelessly play back audio.

3D Sound Bar SBX1250: Stylish Design, Sophisticated Sound
Toshiba's 3D Sound Bar SBX1250 sports a sleek and modern design that pairs perfectly with any HDTV.  It is equipped with six individual speakers, two of which are optimized for low-end frequencies to improve bass performance. All six speakers are powered by Sonic Emotion technology to create an immersive virtual 3D sound field and deliver a total peak power of 100 watts. The SBX1250 is extremely simple to set up and easy to use. It works as soon as it's plugged in and users do not have to handle any complicated calibration steps to begin experiencing thrilling 3D audio performance. The sound bar can also be easily mounted to a wall with included brackets.

Pricing and Availability
The 3D Sound Bar SBX1250 can be purchased for $129.99 MSRP(1) and the Mini 3D Sound Bar for $179.99 MSRP.

Both will be available this fall from ToshibaDirect and other retailers and e-tailers.
