A Touch Of Spain In Washington Wine Country's Backyard

Castillo De Feliciana Vineyard & Winery receives a cyber-facelift

WALLA WALLA, Wash., Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Castillo De Feliciana Vineyard & Winery was inspired by the Southern region of Spain called Andalucia where the majestic blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean meet with the Mediterranean Sea. The region is home to beautiful stark white buildings and Terra Cotta tile roofs of Los Pueblos Blancos.

This is the look and feeling of the newly re-designed website of Castillo De Feliciana (http://www.castillodefeliciana.com). Wine enthusiasts looking for an amazing Spanish wine experience will soon have an easier time locating that special Albarino, Tempranillo, Malbec, Tempranillo Rose or Bolsa Negra with the launch of this new website.

Castillo De Feliciana has partnered with full service advertising agency, AMI Advertising Agency (http://www.amiadagency.com) to enhance the Castillo De Feliciana brand online, on-site as well as at retail. The goal is for people searching for a unique winery in Eastern Washington a chance to experience an extension of the Spanish style tasting room online.

"Along with growth comes change. Our new website is one of these changes that we feel exemplifies this growth.  We partnered with AMI Advertising Agency to help us clarify our direction and keep us consistent with our mission. We are a "Boutique Winery," which presents some challenges in that our exposure to the public can be limiting because of size and ability to reach out to customers.  Our web site, as developed by AMI, will now enable us to reach out to people not only with concise information but it will provide people the ability to purchase our wines ON LINE!  This is a direct sale to consumer approach that will certainly enhance our profitability. Our market will be expanded to the worldwide web. We are excited by our current direction with AMI Advertising in a lead position."  - Dr. Sam Castillo owner Castillo De Feliciana Vineyard and Winery.

By creating this online experience it opens open the winery to an additional sales channel, while giving way to new and exciting avenues of marketing, "Virtual Tasting" anyone? In recent months the Castillo De Feliciana Vineyard & Winery had an eastside location in Snohomish. The landlord of the facilities closed the space forcing Castillo among other wineries to find new locations. The new website and shopping feature will allow the customers there a chance to buy product online while an eastside location is found.

In addition to the shopping feature, Flamenco Club members will have exclusive access to the wine club page for specials and incentives only allowed to members. The Flamenco Club is limited in size, due to the success of the Castillo De Feliciana varietals, membership is filling up fast.

Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard & Winery is located just south of Walla Walla on 66 acres. Feliciana was the chosen name as it is also a blend: "Feliz" meaning happiness, and also memorializes Deborah Castillo's Aunt Feliciana, of whom she has many sweet and vivid childhood memories. The images of a Castillian dancer or Spanish Fado singer is the centerpiece of the wine label, evoking the mystery, color and enchantment of Spain.
