Cypherpath/ZanttZ Launch CyberFire(TM) -- Acquire Knowledge...Demonstrate Skill...Exercise Cyber Defense
HERNDON, Va., Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As cyber threats continue to grow at an exponential rate, the need for identifying and educating cybersecurity professionals has taken center stage as part of a national strategy to secure our cyberspace. Cypherpath and ZanttZ have teamed up to offer an immersive, hands-on solution, called CyberFire(TM), which enables the rapid development and deployment of real world cyber training scenarios. CyberFire(TM) is the first comprehensive cloud-based solution with the greatest efficiency for scalability and availability. The team provided the CyberFire(TM) platform to support over 30 participants in validating and demonstrating skill and exercise defense measures as part of the Cyber Elite Challenge. The Cyber Elite Challenge is a component of the Federal Cybersecurity Training Event, (FedCTE) program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of State. The virtual training event, called - Aspire to Become the Cyber-Elite: Join the Challenge was hosted in the AvayaLive(TM) virtual world. The challenge was held October 31-November 1, 2012.
