"Baby Nuggets with Danielle" Weekly Online Parenting Video Series Debuts On BabyLeague.com
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This month, Parent Educator and Baby Expert, Danielle Brooks, MFT, debuts her weekly web video series, "Baby Nuggets with Danielle," on BabyLeague(TM), a premium video content network on YouTube dedicated to parents and caregivers of children from birth through one year of age. The goal of "Baby Nuggets with Danielle" is to guide and support parents and caregivers from the very start of their transition into parenthood, making life a little easier given all of the uncertainty that comes with bringing home a new baby.
Brooks, working with network's founder, Aimee Helfand, has created this weekly video blog, "Baby Nuggets with Danielle," to provide parents and other caregivers with short videos (3-5 minutes) featuring various baby-related topics that they will encounter in the first year of life. She will offer tips on "hot button" issues such as sleep strategies, creating daytime and nighttime game plans, attunement and adjustment to parenthood to name a few. Danielle's "anti-preachy" approach makes her different than other baby experts as she does not prescribe to the notion that only one method is the proper method. She takes the whole family unit into consideration and gives "nuggets" of advice that can be adapted to an individual family's lifestyle.
Brooks, who was the network founder's own mommy & me instructor, was part of what inspired her to start this online network. Danielle Brooks, based in Los Angeles, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.S. in Human Development and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, from UC Davis and Antioch University, Los Angeles respectively.Danielle teaches weekly classes all over the Los Angeles area, at The Pump Station, various pre-schools and Early Education facilities. She is also a guest lecturer and an adjunct faculty member for Antioch University.
