Mission Linen Supply Selects DecisionPoint Systems To Build Comprehensive Paperless, Mobile Customer Interface Program

20-Route Pilot Program to Begin in California

IRVINE, Calif., March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DecisionPoint(TM) Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: DPSI), a leading provider and integrator of Enterprise Mobility and Wireless Applications, announced today the launch of a pilot program to create and install a comprehensive paperless mobile customer interface solution for Mission Linen Supply. The custom-built, end-to-end enterprise program will outfit all of Mission Linen's drivers, dispatchers and office support personnel with mobile devices that automate and replace their current paper-based system for all their operations including deliveries, invoicing, ordering, real-time communications and customer support.

The pilot program, the second part of a multi-phase, three-year contract, will cover the approximately 20 industrial and commercial routes operated from Santa Barbara, CA, the corporate base of privately-held Mission Linen Supply. Mission Linen Supply provides rental products, services and supplies to hospitality, medical and industrial businesses in California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Oregon.

As part of the program all Mission Supply drivers will be outfitted with a complete set of hardware including a hand-held mobile computer tablet with an Android operating system that has been "ruggedized" for the kinds of intensive field work they will be performing. The end result will mean much faster and more precise operations for Mission Linen including more accurate invoicing, better inventory control, better planning and dispatching, immediate wireless connectivity and better real-time customer relations, noted Karl Willig, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Linen Supply.

"Our goal is to improve our operations and deliver quicker, more accurate and less time- consuming products and services to all our clients throughout the Southwestern region of the U.S.," Willig said. "We are proud of our thorough customer service orientation, and we believe the wireless, paperless DecisionPoint system will help us achieve these goals. We selected DecisionPoint because we were impressed with the products and services they have created for other route-based businesses."

DecisionPoint Systems provides the kinds of wireless technologies that enable companies like Mission Linen Supply to automate their enterprise and turn their employee base into a modern, wireless mobile workforce, noted DecisionPoint CEO Nicholas R. Toms.

"This is the type of project that is a natural fit for all our core competencies, including mobile computing, empowering mobile workers and leveraging the expertise DecisionPoint has gained through our experience working in the mobile marketplace," Toms said. "We are building a cross-platform development solution for the entire Mission Linen operation. In the end our program will give them all the tools to create a modern mobile workforce, plus the flexibility to build their operations in the future as they expand. We are excited about working for Mission Linen Supply and look forward to delivering the value our technologies offers them."
