uSell Sponsors Video Contest to Showcase the Customer Experience

Videos with the Most Votes on uSell's Facebook Page Can Win up to $500

NEW YORK, March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --uSell, the web's leading site where consumers can find cash offers for their old smartphones and mobile electronics, today announced that the company is sponsoring a video contest to showcase customers' experiences with uSell. Amateur filmmakers are encouraged to be creative with the theme "I Sold, I Made, I Bought," finding fun new ways to communicate how they sold an unused device on uSell, how much they received and how they spent the cash. uSell is accepting video submissions until April 15, 2013. The company will announce the top three winning entries on May 1, 2013 and award cash prizes.

"We're betting our customers can make a better uSell commercial than we can," said uSell founder and CEO Dan Brauser. "We're looking for videos that describe what they sold on uSell - an unused BlackBerry, their retired iPhone 4, etc. - how much they got for it, and, most importantly, what they did with the money they made. We put together a couple of videos that contestants can check out on our Facebook page. We're hoping our videos will inspire others to submit creative stories of their own."

Contestants can create short videos on the "I Sold, I Made, I Bought" theme and upload them at the uSell Facebook page between now and April 15. After April 15, viewers can vote for their favorite videos on Facebook. uSell will award $100 for third place, $250 for second place and $500 for the video that receives the most votes.
