TORRANCE, Calif., April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JumpStart® today announced the release of its newest mobile game, JumpStart Pet Rescue, based on the critically-acclaimed, best-selling Nintendo Wii(TM) title. The app is available now through iTunes®, Google Play(TM) and Kindle®, and will be coming to Nook® stores soon. This game is designed to bring one of JumpStart's key preschool learning experiences to mobile devices.

JumpStart Pet Rescue is designed to engage preschool-aged children in adventure-filled education and excitement. Children can explore five immersive lands throughout the game in order to rescue their lost animals. Using their personalized Jumpee(TM) avatars, players can care for their adopted furry friends as they meet some of the beloved JumpStart friends like Frankie(TM), Hops-a-Lot and others. Through interactive books, songs and mini learning games, children exercise core educational skills such as problem solving, vocabulary and counting that will open the door to a lifetime love of learning.
