CLEVELAND, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Veritix(®) today announced the introduction of PlayThru, a game-based verification service that offers an easy-to-use alternative to a CAPTCHA. Veritix has partnered with Are You a Human to offer this integrated service for online ticket purchases, which eliminates the need for buyers to enter difficult to read CAPTCHA words that frequently require multiple entry attempts. Instead, consumers engage with short, simple, and interactive games to verify that they are human. Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena (The Q), home to the NBA Cavaliers, will be the first Veritix client to use PlayThru, which will be available for all arena events.
PlayThru eliminates a significant barrier for consumers buying tickets online by giving them an easier way to verify they are human. Use of PlayThru's game-based verification results in a 40% increase in submission rates as compared to CAPTCHA. In addition, 98% of users prefer PlayThru to CAPTCHA, and users have a 98.7% accuracy rate through the game-based verification. PlayThru truly offers an enjoyable experience for fans buying tickets.
