Actions Semiconductor Introduces Second OWL Series Chipset
ZHUHAI, China, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACTS), one of China's leading fabless semiconductor companies that provides comprehensive portable multimedia and mobile internet system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions for portable consumer electronics, today announced the introduction of its new ATM7023 chipset.
Actions' ATM7023 chipset is the second chipset in the OWL product series and supports the latest version of the Android(TM) operating system, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With the ARM® Cortex(TM) dual-core CPU and a powerful GPU core, the built-in full spec 1080p video encode and decode engine and USB 2.0 PHY integration, ATM7023 brings advanced multimedia capabilities to entry level tablets.
