CoroWare Announces CoroCall SecurePlus HD Video Conferencing and Collaboration
CoroWare expands its cyber security early adopter program
KIRKLAND, Wash., April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CoroWare, Inc. (OTCQB: COWI) announced today the launch of CoroCall SecurePlus, a secure HD video conferencing and collaboration service, which is based upon Vidyo's HD Video Conferencing and DSI's patented Virtual Dispersive Networking (VDN) with Spread Spectrum IP(TM) technology.
Public and private enterprise customers are increasingly deploying video conferencing solutions on any device and from any network to stay connected with internal employees and external customers. Threats targeting the sensitive content and communications being shared in these collaborative solutions are increasing. Sophisticated hackers employ a range of tools to electronically intercept Internet traffic aimed at obtaining access to sensitive company and customer information as well as obtaining user ID's and passwords.
To address this problem, CoroWare has partnered with Dispersive Solutions, Inc. (DSI) to deliver CoroCall SecurePlus, a service that adds additional security to video conferences which operate over the Internet. As part of the overall CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications Suite, CoroCall SecurePlus protects IP-based communications, Internet chat, and Voice Over IP (VoIP).
"Security conscious customers are looking for military-grade cyber security solutions," said Steve Mueller, senior managing consultant for CoroWare's cyber security initiative. "Taking advantage of CoroCall SecurePlus, customers can benefit from DSI's patented Virtual Dispersive Networking (VDN) with Spread Spectrum IP(TM) technology."
CoroWare CoroCall SecurePlus is available to customers today through an Early Adopter Program, in which they evaluate the HD video conferencing and collaboration service in addition to their own mission critical applications.
