This is taken from X-bit Labs... As we learned, the first Pentium 4 processors for the mobile PCs should be launched in February 2002. In this respect, we thought that these CPUs would be showcased at COMDEX Fall/2001, but we were mistaken. They only had a single Mobile Pentium 4 prototype working at 1.6GHz on the mobile i845 based platform supporting PC2100 DDR SDRAM. Thank goodness they had at least a prototype over there...At the same time, Intel confirmed their desire to launch these CPUs within Q1’02. they are expected to work at 1.4GHz-1.7GHz core clock frequencies, which corresponds to what we have already told you before.
