StoneFusion Network Storage Platform (NSP), StoneFly's patented storage networking operating system architecture, brings in block level storage intelligence to the IP network core. StoneFly's IP SANs deliver all the benefits of managed SANs: increased storage utilization through resource consolidation, storage provisioning, centralized access control, volume management, and advanced storage services including Active/Active clustering, mirroring, replication, encryption, snapshots, and thin provisioning.
By partnering with Permabit, StoneFly is able to seamlessly add data deduplication to its solutions without negatively impacting its differentiating capabilities or reducing performance.
"We are committed to working with technology partners to deliver the best solutions available to meet the demanding storage needs of our customers," said Mo Tahmasebi, President and CEO of StoneFly. "Implementing Permabit Albireo into our solutions means that we are better able to provide the widest range of options through additional storage optimization features that offer a cascading amount of benefits throughout the IT infrastructure."
The addition of Permabit Albireo SDK allows StoneFly to deliver one of the highest performing, scalable and efficient storage solutions in the market.
"Deduplication is a highly sought after attribute by companies looking for reliable and cost-effective management of their business-critical data," said Tom Cook, Permabit CEO. "StoneFly's StoneFusion Network Storage Platform (NSP) is a perfect example of how OEMs gain competitive advantage and leverage Albireo's data optimization technologies in their existing or next-generation storage architectures to deliver comprehensive storage efficiency to their customers."
