Alticast: The Road to All-IP
BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alticast, a worldwide leader in interactive television, announced today that they will present technology that will assist operators in migrating to All-IP, at The Cable Show in Washington D.C., June 10-12.
In Booth 1803, Alticast will be showcasing IP Migration Paths, Downloadable and Executable (D&E) Conditional Access and Digital Rights Management (CAS/DRM), innovative UI/UX designs, Companion Applications and several IP set-top boxes based on the RDK software platform.

This demonstration showcases Alticast's innovative solutions that enable service providers to smoothly transition to IP based multi-screen delivery using HTML5 technology.
D&E CAS/DRM
AltiProtect(TM) D&E is a downloadable Conditional Access solution that provides operators the freedom and flexibility to use a variety of CAS solutions from various vendors thus replacing embedded as well as CableCARD Security. AltiProtect DRM extends the same level of protection and flexibility for multi-screen devices.
RDK
Alticast will show several IP set-top boxes based on RDK and featuring Alticast's Application Framework technology. These boxes will highlight several MSO UI/UXs. The RDK provides the industry with a single software platform that shortens development cycles and delivers new economies of scale, as it enables new services and additional revenue streams.
