Rise Up: Kabam Launches Underworld Empire on Android

Quest for Power and Justice Fuels Thrilling Crime-Based RPG

SAN FRANCISCO, July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --  Kabam, the leader in the western world for free-to-play games for traditional players, today announced an Android release of its hit mobile game Underworld Empire on Google Play.  Developed in San Francisco by Kabam's Phoenix Age studio, Underworld Empire is a social role-playing game (RPG) that takes players into New Metropolis, a crime filled realm where they will need to earn respect and money through defeating enemies and recruiting allies to reign over the most powerful empire.

"Kabam's Phoenix Age studio has created a phenomenal experience for mobile devices and we're thrilled to bring one of the top crime-based RPGs to Android players," said Aaron Loeb, senior vice president of Kabam's North American Studios. "Underworld Empire brings an intense battle for domination, featuring stunning artwork and the ability to form criminal empires with hundreds of other players from around the world. It's a fun and challenging social game."

Underworld Empire takes players on a journey to exact vengeance for their father's murder, where strategic thinking and alliances are critical in the pursuit of underworld domination.  Players can align against their choice of ruthless criminal empires including The Cartel, Syndicate, Mafia, and Street Gangs.   Defeating adversaries and powerful bosses grants access to threatening weapons and assault vehicles which players can use to annihilate other players to reclaim their empire.  With integrated social features including a real-time boss battle leaderboard, players will compete together and against each other in an epic battle to rule the underworld.  Game features include:

--  Build your Arsenal: Boost your stats with over 1,000 Common, Uncommon,
Rare, Epic, and Legendary weapons and assault vehicles.
--  Guns for Hire: Customize your empire with more than 50 unique
lieutenants with special abilities, then fuse them together to make them
        even more effective.
--  Defeat Powerful Bosses: Take down powerful bosses with up to 200 other
players to earn loot and scale the real-time boss battle leaderboard.
--  All out Underworld War: Join or create an empire of up to 80 players
then battle to become the toughest in 80 vs. 80 Empire Wars.
