New HP LaserJets Offer Business Performance, Security in a New, Sleek Design

NEW DELHI, October 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

HP today announced new multi-function printers (MFPs) and printers powered by
JetIntelligence to help businesses complete their work much more quickly, use less energy
and interact with a new, sleek design for the modern office.

The new HP LaserJet 400 series printers and MFPs provide the speed and efficiency to
keep businesses at their most productive with the fastest first page out, fastest
two-sided printing, and lowest energy consumption in their class.[1],[2] The new HP
LaserJets will also help to secure businesses' print environment, from boot up to shut
down, by bringing built-in security features such as job storage with PIN Printing.[3]

"Small, medium-sized businesses are constantly challenged to complete their work more
efficiently and securely, enabling them to improve customers' satisfaction and capture
more opportunities," said Parikshet Singh Tomar, Country Category Leader, Printing Systems,
PPS, HP India. "HP is accelerating innovation to help businesses succeed and push the
envelope on what they've ever experienced in speed, energy savings, security and design."

New, Sleek Design for the Modern Office

HP is extending its award-winning design to this new LaserJet line-up. They come in
clean, white color schemes and soft, rounded edges to create a light, inviting and
approaching finishing. The subtle texture variations draw the attention to key points of
interaction, such as the control panel touchscreen and paper trays. The new HP LaserJet
Pro MFP M427and M477 also come with a slim automatic document feeder which is capable of
single-pass duplex scanning as well as an infinity scan-glass that bleeds right to the
edge to easily slide the paper off the glass after every scan.

Leaner, Faster, Smarter - the New HP LaserJets

The new HP LaserJets are ideal for small work teams with 3-10 users printing up to
4,000 pages a month. HP has further simplified walk-up printing on these devices by
enabling customers to print Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files directly from a USB.[4]
They include:

        - The HP LaserJet Pro M403 series is a monochrome printer that is great for compact
work spaces as the smallest and most energy efficient printer in its class.[5]
        - The HP Color LaserJet Pro M452 series delivers fast, best-in-class color printing
performance with up to 48% faster first page out than its predecessor.[6]
        - The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M427 series offers monochrome printing within an MFP built for
productivity with fast, dual-sided scanning and support for document workflows,
including scan to email, folder, USB, and cloud capabilities. It also delivers fast,

    Powered by JetIntelligence

HP is extending the innovation of Original HP Toner cartridges with JetIntelligence to
customers needing monochrome printing with the addition of precision black toner.
Precision black toner offers precise toner placement for black and white printing, leading
to higher page yields per cartridge.

The toner cartridge has been re-engineered to work smarter than ever before,
delivering more pages with fewer interventions. Page maximizer technology delivers more
pages per cartridge than previous generations with less internal wear. In addition, print
gauge technology intelligently predicts toner levels, helping IT managers get the most out
of each toner cartridge.

With anti-fraud technology built into every JetIntelligence toner cartridge, customers
have more protection that easily identifies counterfeit cartridges and enforces
customer-initiated anti-theft and office-wide printing policies to manage cost and quality
standards. HP also makes cartridge installation easier than ever with the new auto seal
removal.
