US$4.4 Billion BANDAI NAMCO Group Enters India; To Open its First Family Entertainment Center in India at Oberoi Mall, Mumbai

Indian Subsidiary Operational With Capital of Rs. 12 Crore; First Family Entertainment
Center in Mumbai to be Operational by End of October 2015 Â
The US$4.4 billion BANDAI NAMCO Group (listed in the first section of Tokyo Stock
Exchange), is now in India through a wholly owned subsidiary - BANDAI NAMCO India Pvt.
Ltd. Incorporated with an initial capital of Rs. 12 crore, the subsidiary will set up and
manage a series of Family Entertainment Centers across India based on assessment of
potential. The first one at The Oberoi Mall in Mumbai will be operational by end of
October 2015. Built to Japanese standards of safety and peace of mind, the vibrant
facility is designed around 3D TV animation 'PAC-MAN [TM] and "Ghostly Adventures' [TM]
themes. The 9,264 sft. center offers large-scale children's play equipment and one of
India's largest redemption zones.
In his comments, Masaharu Igarashi, President, BANDAI NAMCO Asia Company Limited, said,
"Expansion in the fast growing and increasingly affluent Asian region is a key component
of the group's mid-term vision plan. With a wholly owned subsidiary, we now have a direct
presence in one of the largest markets in Asia - India. We believe Indian audiences are
ready for entertainment facilities of global standards and it will become one of the fast
growing new markets for our group."
According to Takeo Yagi, Director and COO, BANDAI NAMCO India Pvt. Ltd., "Mumbai
despite being India's second largest city, does not have that many world-class
entertainment facilities. The new center from BANDAI NAMCO will not only address that gap,
it will also put Mumbai on the world map of BANDAI NAMCO centers. Am sure Mumbaikars will
love the new center with its state of art playing machines and a redemption zone on a
scale not seen before."

company, three strategic business units (SBUs), and affiliated business companies that
support the work of the SBUs. The three SBUs are - Toys & Hobby, Network entertainment,

subsidiary of BANDAI NAMCO ASIA Company Limited, which oversees the group's business in
the Asian region.
