NextVR will demonstrate crystal-clear, 360-degree virtual reality content optimized for mobile devices featuring the Snapdragon 820 processor at Qualcomm booth during CES
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- NextVR, the leader in live-action virtual reality broadcast technology today announced that it will demonstrate the next evolution in high-quality, full 360-degree virtual reality content on mobile phones using the latest advances in the Qualcomm® Snapdragon(TM) 820 processor, a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
NextVR collaborated with Qualcomm Technologies, to port and optimize the NextVR video player for the new Snapdragon 820 that enables delivery of high-quality, live virtual reality content. Qualcomm Technologies will feature NextVR's new virtual reality content at the Qualcomm booth 8643, Central Hall, during CES.

Most mobile phones sold in 2015 and prior lack the internal capacity to deliver a truly immersive, sustained VR experience. "The Snapdragon 820 processor is optimized for virtual reality and the Android phones with this chipset provide no-compromise, state-of-the-art VR," Cole said.
