Netlist Showcases NVDIMM Breakthrough - 5X Real World Application Performance - at the NVM Summit
IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST), introduced its NVvault® DDR4 NVDIMM (NV4) at the 4(th) Annual Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Non Volatile Memory (NVM) Summit in San Jose, CA today. At this event, Netlist will demonstrate the performance difference between Netlist's NV4 and an industry leading PCIe NVME NAND device. The demonstration runs an industry standard transaction processing benchmark (Percona TPC-C) on a MySQL database. The Netlist NV4 system showcases a 5X increase in Transactions Per Minute in this emulation of a complex enterprise environment.

"Transacting more business per minute is imperative for both enterprise organizations and cloud service providers," said Mat Young, VP Marketing at Netlist. "Our latest non-volatile DIMM technology provides breakthrough levels of performance and shows off the extraordinary potential of Storage Class Memory on real world applications."
Alex Alexander, CEO and Co-Founder of SpringbokSQL, supplier of the world's fastest MySQL appliances said "It's great to see Netlist showing workload performance on applications rather than the usual IOPS display. The performance achieved with Non-Volatile Memory is revolutionary, just like NAND was to Hard Disk Drives. We look forward to working further with Netlist products to see what other breakthroughs can be achieved."
Netlist invented the NVDIMM almost a decade ago and since then, it has shipped over a half million units, more than every other supplier combined. Netlist holds over 27 issued and pending patents on the technology, many of which are seminal covering the fundamental architecture of NVDIMM.
Netlist is a member of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) and will have architects available throughout the demonstrations at the NVM Summit to answer questions about applications, performance and the Netlist portfolio of products.
