New high-quality, high-power projector from Ricoh expands and illuminates information sharing
Larger projection range and high resolution create a larger canvas for bigger, more vivid ideas
MALVERN, Pa., Feb. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh today introduced a new projector that offers a larger canvas ideal for midsize and large conferences and classrooms, with an expanded projection range, increased brightness and flexible setup options that support different workstyles.
The high-quality, high-power RICOH PJ WU5570 projector is ideal for audiences of up to 50 people, ranging from business settings to exhibits and displays to large classrooms, and is capable of projecting up to a 300-inch screen size. This latest addition to Ricoh's projector lineup features Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology and pre-installed lenses with up to 5,500 lumens of brightness with WUXGA resolution of 1920x1200 pixels for more illuminated idea-sharing. Users can focus on the details of their work and signage with 1:8 power zoom and a 9,000:1 high contrast mode for clearer and more vivid images.
The RICOH PJ WU5570 projector also includes various features that enable greater collaboration and control. Vertical and horizontal lens shift and vertical and horizontal keystoning provide greater flexibility in configuration and afford users the ability to deploy larger digital signage. Users can control the projector through Crestron, AMX(®) and PJLINK(TM) systems, allowing for integration in their existing A/V environment. For organizations that value sustainability, the RICOH PJ WU5570 includes an optional Eco mode, which consumes up to 20 percent less power and provides 20 percent longer lamp life than in normal mode.
"Whether displaying attention-getting signage at a tradeshow, sharing the next big product idea with colleagues, or teaching a new concept to students, users today need an unprecedented level of flexibility and power," said John Brophy, Vice President, Product Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "The collaboration capabilities of the RICOH PJ WU5570 lay the foundation for a better experience for users and audiences, while also accommodating the many different ways that we all work, learn and entertain."
The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $2,625 for the RICOH PJ WU5570 projector.
