Elsevier [http://www.elsevier.com ], a world-leading provider of scientific, technical
and medical information products and services, has launched a ClinicalKey
[https://www.clinicalkey.com ] mobile app that enables rapid access to evidence-based,
peer reviewed clinical information via a mobile device. Elsevier designed the mobile app

formats for mobile phone and tablet.
Developed to meet the needs of clinicians who are increasingly using mobile devices
throughout their work day, the ClinicalKey app provides mobile access to answers from the
largest collection of clinical resources, covering every medical, surgical and nursing*
specialty. Clinicians can enhance their ability to improve speed to accurate diagnosis and
treatment in order to improve patient outcomes and lower the cost of care.
"When treating patients, clinicians need quick answers based on the latest or most
detailed information available to provide the best possible care and achieve the most
positive outcomes. The ClinicalKey mobile app accelerates the decision-making process by
providing access to timely, accurate, evidence-based information for clinical
decision-making at clinicians' fingertips," said Dr. Peter Edelstein, Chief Medical
Officer, Elsevier Clinical Solutions. "Unlike other clinical apps available today, the
ClinicalKey mobile app provides clinicians with access to a greater breadth of content and
a broader range of specialties, whenever and wherever they need clinical information."
Among the features of ClinicalKey mobile app:
- Intuitive search, including keyword search with filtering, auto suggest and search
history;
- Access to full-text books, full-text journals, guidelines, images, videos and more;
- Ability to bookmark and save items, synced with web application;
- Earn and track Continuing Medical Education credits; and
- Persistent login, enabling quick and easy access.
The ClinicalKey mobile app is available to customers in more than 40 countries
