To Build the Future, You Need to See It - Nanotronics and the Future of Manufacturing
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nanotronics returns to Photonics West in 2016 with all the enthusiasm and momentum that reflects the Founders Fund-backed company's notable growth in 2015. As Nanotronics brilliant machines continue to increase customers' yields, throughput, and process control, rate adoption of their solutions has escalated. In March, Nanotronics will release the most significant update to their software with an improved artificial intelligence (AI) that learns and makes better, more efficient decisions over time. When multiple systems are deployed in production environments, fleet learning occurs and collectively adds to and refines the neural net. Combined with Nanotronics' advanced image processing software and high-quality optical solutions, this AI allows for real-time analysis, quantification and classification of features and defects without operator training. Acquiring Franklin MCI last May, now incorporated as Nanotronics Automation, the company now serves as an end-to-end provider of both software and hardware.

Nanotronics will be demonstrating at Photonics West its core product offerings nSpec® and nSpec®3D. nSpec® is a fully automated, optical inspection system for analyzing transparent and semi-transparent wafers for defects, while offering fast quantification and qualification of defects with detailed reporting and mapping. nSpec®3D provides surface topographies and quantitative roughness measurements for industries that require a new way of inspecting quality and irregularities in the process, such as tire, medical device, steel, battery, aerospace, and automotive.
Industry needs a robust set of tools to lay the groundwork for the future factory, and Nanotronics provides scientists and engineers the first set of tools as advanced as the devices they build. With Moore's Law, flexible materials, and wide bandgap electronics converging to revolutionize industry, agile software and hardware solutions are needed to eliminate the mundane and fuel the engine of discovery.
Nanotronics, an INC 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company, has 60 employees across their offices in Brooklyn, New York, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Hollister, California.
