The three watches in the collection cover the Master of G spectrum of air, land, and sea and are designed to withstand extreme conditions. They include the GPW1000RD-4A Gravitymaster, the GWG1000RD-4A Mudmaster, and the GWN1000RD-4A Gulfmaster. Each of these advanced, durable watches demonstrate the absolute toughness that G-Shock is known for, paired with specialized functions and a modern style and feel.
The GPW1000RD-4A Gravitymaster is built for the air with Triple G Resist construction, GPS Atomic Solar Hybrid technology and oversized numerical indicators for at-a-glance readability. As its name suggests, the GWG1000RD-4A Mudmaster is mud resistant, as well as being shock resistant and vibration resistant. It includes a Triple Sensor (Altimeter/Barometer, Thermometer and Compass) as well as a carbon-fiber insert band. The last timepiece of this series, the GWN1000RD-4A Gulfmaster, also includes Triple Sensor technology, but adds a barometric tendency alarm, Tide Indicator, and Moon Graph.
All three models include Shock Resistance, 200M Water Resistance, Tough Solar Power, Smart Access electronic crown, and Multiband 6 Atomic Timekeeping allowing for automatic timekeeping from anywhere in the world.
The GPW1000RD-4A will retail for $950 USD, the GWG1000RD-4A for $750 USD, and the GWN1000RD-4A for $500 USD. The Casio G-SHOCK Master of G Rescue Red series will be available this April at the G-SHOCK NYC Soho store, select Macy's, and key select independent jewelers.
About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up". For more information, visit http://www.GSHOCK.com
