"When it comes to designing timepieces, we never cease to look for ways to innovate our watches for even the most advanced adventure-seeking consumers whether they are surfing, diving, kayaking or rafting," said David Johnson, vice president of Casio's Timepiece Division. "With the features found on the PRW3510Y-1, enthusiasts can trust that this is an excellent timepiece to enhance their outdoor activities."
Designed with a digital STN LCD, which requires less power than other LCDs, the PRW3510Y-1 offers great visibility in highly bright or dark environments and has a full auto LED backlight which illuminates in the dark with just a tilt of the wrist. With a silicone strap, the fit and feel has been improved, and the PRW3510Y-1 also features a bold stainless steel rotary bezel which can be positioned to help keep track of current and intended bearings.
To truly round out the features that are perfect for outdoor activities, the PRW3510Y-1 is water resistant up to 200 meters allowing enthusiasts to take their adventures to new heights--and depths. The PRW3510Y-1 also features Casio's Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology which includes a direction sensor for compass readings, pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and a thermo sensor. The watch also includes a pressure trend graph and alarm to keep users informed of any sudden pressure swings that might otherwise be overlooked. The timepiece also enables the user to effortlessly check--and record--all the needed information on outdoor conditions.
With Casio's Tough Solar Power technology, the PRW3510Y-1 eliminates the need for battery changes. After a full-charge, the timepiece has a battery life of approximately seven months without further exposure to light and a special Power Save feature that allows the timepiece to power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, helping to further conserve energy. This solar battery-powered timepiece can be charged even in low or fluorescent light.
The PRW3510Y-1 is available now at select jewelers and retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $320. For additional information on Casio's PRO TREK series, please visit http://www.ProTrek.Casio.com.
