Casio Illuminates InfoComm 2016 With LampFree® Projectors
Casio's Latest LampFree® Core and Advanced Series Models Will Be on Display
DOVER, N.J., June 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc., a leading projector manufacturer, is spotlighting its full lineup of LampFree(®) projectors at InfoComm 2016, the pro-AV industry's largest event. Seven of the company's newest models, including three from the Core Series and four from the Advanced Series - including the new XJ-F210WN - will be on display in Casio's booth (#C5115) from June 8-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"It's always exciting to showcase our products for the industry and we are looking forward to exhibiting at InfoComm 2016 to further demonstrate our commitment to AV professionals," said Joe Gillio, Senior Director Strategic Planning and Marketing, of Casio's Business Projector Division. "We consistently strive to develop products that benefit a range of industries, including business, education, and hospitality, by providing the latest features as well as a lower total cost of ownership."
All LampFree projectors, including the four new WXGA and the three new XGA models, that will be on display, are designed and manufactured in Japan by Casio in the company's premium Yamagata factory. Casio's Advanced LampFree projectors have all of the features and performance that Casio's customers have come to rely on, in a compact design at a more affordable price point.
Casio's LampFree projectors also feature a 20,000-hour estimated operating life and consume half the amount of power per unit than traditional lamp-based projectors. Power consumption at the brightest setting is only 180 watts and eco modes can reduce power consumption by up to 50 percent. Casio's LampFree technology also eliminates the need to replace expensive and hazardous mercury lamps which makes them more cost effective and safer for the environment. Additionally, a dust resistant design is achieved by structuring the internal components into three blocks to shield the optical block from dust. This helps ensure that dust does not lower projection brightness, enabling it to operate consistently for a long time.
The new projectors reach maximum brightness in as fast as five seconds from the time the power is switched on, eliminating the need to wait around while mercury lamps warm up. They also immediately power off with just a touch of the button and can be used again right away when powered back on, without the need for a cool-down period. The Instant Light Control feature allows adjustment of projection brightness using the left and right keys on the projector itself or on the remote control. Furthermore, with the Intelligent Light Control feature provided in the Advanced Series, these projector models sense ambient brightness in the room and automatically adjust the projection brightness accordingly. When it comes to connectivity, the Core Series models, including the XJ-V100W, XJ-V10X and XJ-V110W, feature one HDMI terminal, while the Advanced Series models, including the XJ-F210WN, XJ-F100W, XJ-F20XN and XJ-F10X, feature two HDMI terminals as well as a USB power supply.
Casio's projectors are manufactured in Japan by Yamagata Casio Co., Ltd., a Casio Group manufacturing subsidiary. By applying the advanced production technologies it has developed over the years, Yamagata Casio consistently achieves an exceptionally high level of product quality. As a result, Casio projectors are TAA compliant and can be GSA listed for government sales. The new Core and Advanced Series LampFree models are now available through Casio's network of authorized dealers and resellers.
