CMTL Expands Advanced Memory and SSD Testing to Industrial Temperature Specifications
ANAHEIM, Calif., June 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CMTL, (http://www.cmtlabs.com), Computer Memory Test Labs confirmed today that it has acquired the additional equipment necessary to perform the Advanced Testing process for memory and flash product compatibility and functionality testing process to meet industrial and wide temperature specifications.
CMTL President John Deters stated, "The remaining third party memory product companies in the industry need to read the writing on the wall. Industrial, wide temp, ruggedized market segments are now key to their survival. The nontraditional memory module or standard flash product areas represent strategic market segments that can offer a new and solid increased revenue and profitability along with a well positioned customer base with potential tremendous growth. Those are the areas of market opportunities, especially with the embedded platform application solution providers, that will help shield them from the ever growing encroachment of their current customer base by DRAM manufacturers that will without hesitation sell directly to the third party manufacturer's customer."
