New Partnership Opens the Door to Next-generation Gamified Assessments
NEW YORK, July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Talent measurement and assessment specialist cut-e and psychometric games developer
Arctic Shores have formed a new partnership to develop next-generation 'gamified
assessments' which will help employers to attract and select job applicants.
Arctic Shores creates immersive mobile games, using neuroscience and applied
psychology, covering topics such as innovation, resilience and general mental ability.
Under the new partnership, cut-e will exclusively distribute these games in the USA. The
two companies will also work together to develop a new breed of gamified assessments for
pre-application attraction and candidate selection.
David Barrett, Chief Operating Officer of cut-e, said: "Arctic Shores is a leading
provider in the gamification arena and we're delighted to distribute their games and to
partner with them to develop the next-generation of gamified assessments. These will offer
an immersive, engaging and entertaining candidate experience but they'll also provide
rigorous psychometric insights about each applicant's skills, abilities and their
potential to perform in a role. As a result, employers will be able to differentiate their
hiring process, raise brand awareness, engage their prospective talent and make fair and
objective selection decisions. They'll also benefit from job-relevant data, insights and
predictive analytics that will help them make future talent decisions."
Robert Newry, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Arctic Shores, added: "In today's
competitive job market, games-based assessments can help organizations to attract and
identify the best candidates from all backgrounds. Through this partnership, we'll combine
our gamification skills with cut-e's testing expertise to create new-style, distinctive
assessments that will provide a fresh, enjoyable experience for candidates and which will
help organizations to recruit the best people."
cut-e and Arctic Shores will work together on custom client projects to develop
next-generation gamified assessments that are grounded in scientifically-validated
psychometric rigour and which provide meaningful, job-relevant insights about candidates.
It is envisaged that these new assessments will work across international boundaries and
that they'll be optimized for any device (phones, tablets, desktops and laptops). They
will also seamlessly integrate with Applicant Tracking Systems, candidate management
applications and HR information systems.
Founded in 2002, cut-e (pronounced 'cute') provides ability, personality, motivation,
values, creativity and integrity assessments in 70 countries and 40 languages.
Established in 2013, Arctic Shores creates mobile games-based psychometric assessments
to attract and pre-screen job applicants.
