The Deepoon M2 has an independent system and computing capability, long battery life, Samsung OLED display and the same powerful Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset as the Samsung Galaxy S6 series of smartphones. Thanks to technological support from Samsung Semiconductor and ARM, the Deepoon M2 rivals the best in class in VR products.
ARM Mali GPU VR Optimizations
Deepoon M2 uses Samsung Exynos 7420 which is powered by ARM Octa-core's CPU and Mali-T760MP8 GPU. With support from ARM, the world's leading semiconductor intellectual property(IP) supplier, Deepoon has become the first Chinese VR maker to work out a solution for mobile processor VR specific optimizations, including front buffering, context priority, and multi-view to ensure top GPU performance for VR games and minimal power consumption even when in high graphic computing, thus further lowering the possibility of atomization.
Latency <19ms
Deepoon worked closely with ARM to optimize for rendering by Mali GPU and integrate some key algorithms such as asynchronous time warp (ATW), so as to control latency to within 19ms and deliver no faintness for users.
Plentiful content
Deepoon has got
With over 150 entire VR games to download, including some top mobile VR games, such as Mummy Hunter, James Legacy, and 10,000+ hours of genuine video content, Deepoon has the biggest VR content platform in China. Called 3D BoBo, it serves 5 million users and has over 200,000 daily active users so far.

The M-Polaris Mobile VR Positioning System is ranked first in the world. It is easy to install and use, has 360-degree location positioning, locates the position to an accuracy of 1mm, and has multiple rooms within its radar, which is particularly important to VR gaming.
At CES Asia in Shanghai in May 2016, Deepoon announced that they will not only focus on hardware development, but also work on the whole "Powered by Deepoon" VR ecosystem, starting with technology and advancing into every industry and partner products. This means Deepoon will not only work on its own products, but also those of its partners.
Composed of hardware, platform, content and service, the Deepoon VR ecosystem includes strategic investors Alpha, KingNet and Xunlei, all are whom are listed companies. Xunlei's Xingyu CDN has already started converging Deepoon's advanced hardware and VR platform.
These partnerships will benefit Deepoon in terms of content, product, users, cloud service, platform building and gaming development.
