Huawei Consumer Business Group has today announced the launch of the new Huawei
MediaPad M3. Elegantly designed with entertainment in mind, the new tablet immerses your
senses in unparalleled audio quality and supreme visuals, raising the bar for audio-visual
performance in portable devices.
Designed for users who don't compromise on technology, the stylish and sophisticated
MediaPad M3 makes use of world-leading expertise in audio design from Harman Kardon and
AKG to create the ultimate in A/V performance. You'll hear stunning clarity and detail in
every note of your top tunes through dual stereo speakers that dynamically switch channels
with screen rotation to ensure the most immersive sound experience possible.
Co-designed and tuned by audio experts Harman Kardon, MediaPad M3's speakers offer an
immersive field of sound that captures every element of a tune and every moment in a
movie. Huawei's own Super Wide Sound 3.0 technology automatically differentiates between
music and video to deliver the right multimedia experience.
Meanwhile the MediaPad M3's spectacular display offers true-to-life colours in
stunning 2560x1600 resolution, making it the best 8.4" tablet money can buy. The display
captures every vivid detail whether you are watching your favourite films or TV shows in
daylight or at night, and through a remarkable minimum brightness setting you can still
watch videos comfortably in dim light without losing any crispness in detail. In addition,
the Eye comfort mode works to filter out harmful blue light to reduce eyestrain when you
are reading in bed or a darkened room.
An incredible 82% screen-to-body ratio makes MediaPad M3's screen the biggest in its
category, outperforming its rivals whilst still light enough to be held in just one hand.
In fact, weighing in at just 310g, the MediaPad M3 packs immense performance into this
neat space. Elegantly encased in a pure metal shell, the beautifully smooth outer casing
results in an exquisite, seamless design that is both stylish and ergonomic.
Behind the screen the MediaPad M3 packs a considerable punch to meet the heavy demands
of even the most sophisticated experience seeker in the LTE era. Outstanding battery
performance provides up to 11 hours of FHD video playback, up to 6 hours of continuous 3D
game playing and as many as 45 hours of music playback. While a rear 8MP camera offers
photography enthusiasts the perfect tool to capture their experiences. Huawei's
world-leading fingerprint recognition and control sensor support faster unlocking for
improved security and a more convenient navigation experience.
Richard Yu, CEO, Huawei Consumer Business Group, remarked: "The new MediaPad M3 offers
the highest standards in technology to those who seek immersive experiences in all aspects
of their day-to-day lives. This is the essence of substance over flashiness; a
sophisticated tablet packing premium sound and a striking display to let users truly
celebrate their senses through their technology."
IFA 2016, Berlin also saw a number of other exciting announcements from Huawei
Consumer Business Group. The Huawei nova series of smartphones flawlessly combines style
and functionality at an affordable price. Following its launch earlier this year, the
flagship Huawei P9 is now catwalk-ready with stunning new Red and Blue colourways adding
to the device's much-lauded high performance camera, co-engineered with Leica, and other
market-leading features.
