Developers and gamers had the opportunity to get hands-on experience with Dlodlo's signature product, Dlodlo V1, at the Tokyo Game Show. The 3.1-ounce device was released last month in New York as the first wearable VR headset in the world that looks like real sunglasses. Compact, portable and easy-to-wear, Dlodlo V1 provides 2400x1200 resolution, 800+ PPI, 105 degree field of view, 90Hz refresh rate as well as minimized dynamic delay for better user experience.
Other products Dlodlo featured at the show included its VR headsets H2 and A1.
"We are excited to introduce our signature products to Japan at the Tokyo Game Show to deliver the brand new concept of VR," said Li Gang, CEO of Dlodlo. "We've taken further steps in every aspect from optics to electronics, material to structure to bring the development of VR technology to the next level."
According to Li, Dlodlo aims to create a complete VR eco-system for global customers by integrating resources in hardware, software, application, platform and community, including building its own VR content.
The company's step in introducing the revolutionary VR glasses and VR technologies to the world will start from teaming up with Sojitz Corporation to launch Dlodlo V1 in Japan in 2017.
"Glass V1 is highly welcomed at the Tokyo Game Show," said Kaiu Ueda, Virtual Reality Project Leader, Sojitz Pla-Net Corporation. "We hope through the partnership with Dlodlo, Japanese customers will enjoy ultimate virtual reality experience in terms of 3D videos, VR panorama clips and action-packed games in the future. "
