China's VR industry is entering a defining period in 2016. Local industrial parks and investment institutions such as Laoshan District of Qingdao, China Nanchang VR Industrial Base, Shanghai Jinqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, VR Venture, and Makers Global also back the Alliance's aims.

Alvin W. Graylin, China Regional President of Vive, HTC and Vice Chairman of IVRA is confident about the development of China's VR industry. We want to bring revolutionary improvements to people's lives in China and globally by working together as one industry to bring to market products and content which deliver real value to consumers and business customers."

As a pioneer of VR technological innovation, HTC has placed the development of the VR ecosystem at the forefront of its business. In April of this year, HTC launched Vive X Accelerator (vivex.co) to provide various kinds of tools and professional guidance for VR developers and startups in order to facilitate the rapid development of promising development teams. In addition, HTC collaborated with 37 globally leading venture capital firms to set up the VR Venture Capital Alliance (VRVCA.com), and aim to investing billions of dollars to promote the global VR industry.

HTC pledges to support the Alliance and the formulation of industry standards. It will continue to uphold the spirit of transparency, cooperation, equality and ensure a mutually beneficial outcome. HTC will use its technological expertise and resources to open up the upstream and downstream industrial chain, moves that will develop China's VR ecosystem.
