NEW YORK, Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The best prepaid on the best network just got better with the introduction of two new prepaid plans packed with more data. Starting Nov. 13, you can choose from new 5 GB and 10 GB plans.
"People who choose Verizon's prepaid service already enjoy the best value in the industry," said Rob Miller, vice president of consumer pricing for Verizon. "The introduction of these new plans now gives you even more data to enjoy all that the next gen network has to offer."
Verizon's new prepaid plans for smartphones:
-- 5 GB for $50 -- Unlimited talk and text in the U.S., Carryover Data with
on-time payment, Mobile Hotspot, Always-On Data* and International
Messaging to more than 200 countries
-- 10 GB for $70 -- Includes the same features, plus unlimited calling to
Mexico and Canada. This plan gives you double the data of the $50 plan
for only $20 more per month.
The two new plans join Verizon's prepaid lineup, which includes 6 GB of data for $60 per month and 3 GB of data for $45 per month both with AutoPay, and a $30 per month Wi-Fi-only option. With each option, you get HD Voice, which includes enhanced sound quality, video calls, calls over Wi-Fi, 6-way calling and the ability to surf the web while talking.
Also, just because you're buying prepaid doesn't mean you can't have the latest phones. Choose from more than two dozen newer model iOS and Android smartphones, including Google Pixel and Motorola Moto Z -- many equipped with HD Voice out of the box.
For even more control, you can make changes to your account, add money to your account, and add even more data through the MyVerizon app on your smartphone. Visit http://www.verizonwireless.com/prepaid to learn more.
