Canada's Vape Expo Heads to Ottawa
OTTAWA, Nov. 10, 2016 /CNW/ - The EY Centre in Ottawa is set to host Canada's Vape Expo (cvexpo.ca) the largest vape convention show in Canada, featuring the industry's leading companies, brands and vape tech ambassadors. The convention will take place between November 18-20(th). It is expected to be attended by thousands of people from across North America, including a large contingent of ex-smokers who credit vape technology for helping them quit smoking cigarettes.
Since its inaugural event in Montreal in 2015, founding companies VapeMeet.ca and DashVapes.com have worked tirelessly to create the perfect formula for exhibitors to showcase their latest and greatest products and ideas at the same time creating a stage for new companies to introduce themselves into the Canadian marketplace.
This year they are pleased to have joining them on the production team, Vape Brands International, and The Ecig Flavourium, two long-standing companies with strong ties to the Canadian vaping community.
CVE has continually supported advocacy efforts across the country both with time and funds. Most recently, members of the team have financially supported the Constitutional challenge in Quebec against Bill 44, and stand behind their colleagues to ensure that regulations are fair and respect the rights of Canadians as per the constitution.
Canada has seen a patchwork of Provincial regulations implemented across the country over the last year, including a near-total shutdown of the industry in Quebec. With the Federal government aiming to put forward Federal regulations this year, the timing of this event couldn't be more relevant.
Like past shows, CVE Ottawa will have a strong focus on industry standards and advocacy. With dedicated representation, comprised of guest speakers from the fields of harm reduction, quality standards, and advocacy. To encourage more smokers to stop smoking by using vape products instead, CVE is once again offering current smokers a vaping starter kit in exchange for abandoning a pack of cigarettes.
