<p>According to a 2014 study from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, every day 2,500 kids between the age of 12 and 17 abuse a prescription pain reliever for the first time. <p>According to a 2014 study from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, every day 2,500 kids between the age of 12 and 17 abuse a prescription pain reliever for the first time. Many parents are not aware that their own medicine cabinets are potential sources of these drugs for teenage use.
