Zeum: San Francisco's Children's Museum Partners With Brightcove for the Online Distribution of Kids' Clay Animation Movie Creations
SAN FRANCISCO, March 2 -- Zeum: San Francisco's Children's Museum, a hands-on, multimedia arts and technology experience for kids, announced today that it has teamed with Brightcove, the industry-leading online video platform, to enable children and their families to easily view and share their clay animation movies produced in Zeum's Animators Studio.

The Animators Studio, one of Zeum's most popular exhibits, is a space where kids are encouraged to work with one another and explore their creativity by building clay models and bringing them to life through stop-motion animation.
"At Zeum, we encourage kids to share and distribute their stories as a means of celebrating their creativity. We could not be more thrilled to leverage Brightcove's innovative online video platform, which makes this possible for our young visitors," said Audrey Yamamoto, Executive Director at Zeum.
Prior to partnering with Brightcove, Zeum's Educators and ZeumMaster interns underwent a costly and time-consuming process of burning DVDs of large video files for each visitor. Zeum sought a solution that would allow visitors to easily and instantaneously share their video projects with friends and family via e-mail and on social media networks, such as Facebook and Twitter. The issue was effectively resolved with an environmentally-friendly, Zeum-branded experience using Brightcove's platform.
"Zeum has taken a unique, educational approach to using our platform," said Jeff Whatcott, senior vice president of marketing at Brightcove. "Children are given a personal outlet for creative exploration by making videos that showcase their abilities as sculptors, animators, storytellers, and filmmakers. We are proud to team with Zeum on this innovative project and enable the next level of online distribution for Zeum's video initiatives."
