New application from Fuze Box allows Twitter users to publish and promote content, generate conversation threads and create a branded Twitter presence using existing Twitter accounts
SAN FRANCISCO, March 9 -- Fuze Box, the leading provider of visual collaboration applications for consumers and businesses, today introduced Tweetshare, a Twitter-based application that allows anyone to immediately publish any type of content to the web--including HD video, presentations, images and more--and automatically start Twitter conversation threads around their content. Tweetshare also announced a new iPhone app that allows mobile users to upload content, tweet and create discussions on the Tweetshare platform. The app is available globally on the Apple App Store today.
A social alternative to static landing pages, and similar to Facebook fan pages, YouTube channels and blogs, Tweetshare Fan Pages provide a place where Twitter users can post relevant content and initiate real-time conversations. Tweetshare turns every comment into a tweet that is then shared with the Twitter community, virally promoting the content. Any comments made on the Tweetshare Fan Page or similarly, made on Twitter in response to posted content is also automatically threaded on the page, displaying the full breadth of conversation.
Getting started is simple: simply log onto Tweetshare using your existing Twitter credentials, post content to your Tweetshare page and start the conversation by tweeting it out.
Tweetshare also provides built-in content promotion, measurement and analytics tools, including polling functionality and the ability for users to become a fan of a brand's Tweetshare Fan Page. Like YouTube channels and Facebook pages, Tweetshare Fan Pages can be branded and customized, with variable color schemes and multimedia assets.
Marketers, brands and businesses both large and small can sign up for free branded Twitter Fan Pages starting today at http://www.tweetshare.com/.
"By creating branded Twitter pages hosted on Tweetshare, marketers have an ideal landing page to engage in richer conversations with their audience," said Patrick Moran, chief strategy officer of Fuze Box's Tweetshare. "Tweetshare integrates brands' content directly into the Twitter stream, adding a viral element to the conversation and providing an aggregated, interactive channel, other than a company's blog or website, to connect with current and potential customers."
Use Tweetshare to:
-- Create a branded Twitter page to host and promote any type of content
-- Automatically generate a landing page around an event, promotion or
contest
-- Host an online media room with videos, presentations, images and PDFs
-- Perform market research on new campaigns, post surveys on different
topics and get immediate feedback from the Twitter community
Tweetshare will be demonstrating the application's functionality at SXSW by working with video bloggers who will post live content from the interactive, video and music events.
