Mobile Gamers Spin the Wheel and Solve the Puzzle With Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Wheel of Fortune
CULVER CITY, Calif., April 1 -- Do you want to buy a vowel? Sony Pictures Home Entertainment ® (SPHE) takes the classic game show mobile with Wheel of Fortune, the most-enhanced mobile Wheel of Fortune experience to date. Launching on wireless handsets in April, mobile gamers will feel like they are live with Pat Sajak and Vanna White with the game's true-to-show audio tracks and updated graphics reflecting the latest season of the television series.
Armed with new avatar choices, players can battle friends and compete for trophies with Wheel of Fortune's new pass-n-play multiplayer mode. Wheel of Fortune also now offers leaderboards, giving gamers bragging rights as they solve the puzzle and win the grand prize.
Wheel of Fortune will be available to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon subscribers. The game will retail between $2.99 and $9.99, depending on the wireless carrier.
