Radware Plays Key Role in the 2010 World Expo
APSolute Product suite deployed to deliver, accelerate and protect key applications for the 2010 World Expo
BEIJING, April 7 -- Radware (NASDAQ:RDWR), the leading provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, today announced that the 2010 World Expo (Expo 2010) to be held in Shanghai China May 1st through Oct 31st 2010, has deployed Radware's APSolute® Application Delivery solutions into its network information system to deliver key applications.
The Expo 2010 expects to attract more than 70 million visitors from all over the world, creating an unprecedented festive occasion. Compared with previous expos, Expo 2010 has developed an "Online Expo" based on network technologies, fulfilling organic interactions with the physical expo. Thus, Expo 2010 shall develop itself into an external expo featuring the application of most network technologies. The most striking objective is to build a network platform that enables an alternative experience and real-time interaction. As a top world-wide distinguished meeting, the Expo 2010 calls for great supports from world-class network service providers.
"At an unprecedented scale, it is the first time the World Expo is being held in a developing country. Therefore, we reviewed qualifications of providers according to stringent criteria and ultimately selected Radware for the information service infrastructure system development," said an official of Expo 2010. "We chose Radware based on its superiority, reliability and all-around substantial strength. We expect its world-class application delivery solutions will provide smooth and secure operation of all related network systems."
Radware's integrated application delivery and network security solutions which combine - AppDirector®, AppWall® and LinkProof® with DefensePro® have been deployed to optimize Expo 2010. Radware's AppDirector ADC (Application Delivery Controller) solution aligns server infrastructure operations with application front-end requirements to eliminate traffic surges, server bottlenecks, connectivity disconnects and downtime. This assures application access, full application continuity and redundancy. Leveraging AppDirector application acceleration features - the Expo can rely on best user experience from their online applications.
Relying on unique behavioral-based and automatically generated real-time signatures to prevent non-vulnerability-based and zero-minute attacks, DefensePro provides security protection ranging from the network layer to the application layer of the Expo's infrastructure. Furthermore, Radware AppWall provides the industry's most comprehensive web application security solution eliminating cross-site scripting, cookie poisoning and other web application threats.
Radware's LinkProof accomplishes dynamic load balancing for links of incoming and outgoing traffic, and maintains sustainable connection of network services and normal content transmission. In conclusion, Radware's APSolute solutions enable viewers to fully experience the physical Expo beyond the limitation of time and space of the Expo 2010.
"Radware is a global leader in terms of technology and market - application delivery, multilink load balancing and application security are our competitive edges," said Mr. John Zhao, General Manager of Radware China. "It is our great honor to participate in the information system development of the Expo 2010. We are confident that our experience and skills will ensure a successful experience at the Expo 2010."
