SonicWALL to Speak at Computerworld's SNW Spring 2010 Conference
Eric Crutchlow to present the case study on how the implementation of SonicWALL helped Nanette Lepore protect against credit card threats and assist with PCI compliance on Tuesday, April 13
ORLANDO, Fla., April 12 -- SonicWALL, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNWL), a leading secure network infrastructure company, announced today that SonicWALL Senior Systems Engineer Eric Crutchlow will be speaking at Computerworld's Storage Networking World (SNW) Spring 2010 Conference in Orlando, FL on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. FBI Supervisory Special Agent Stacy Arruda will be part of the session answering questions related to FBI involvement as it relates to cyber-security threats. The session titled, "Nanette Lepore: How an International Designer Overhauled its Infrastructure for Security & Mobility" will be held between 2:10 p.m. - 2:55 p.m. ET at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
As part of the Storage Management Track, session participants will learn more about the threats facing today's retailers, and learn both infrastructure considerations and best practices to reduce these threats in a Mac-based, distributed environment. Using Nanette Lepore as a case study, Crutchlow will have an in-depth discussion with session participants about the 2007 security breach that prompted Nanette Lepore to implement an enterprise-strength infrastructure. He'll explain the decision to become Mac-centric and discuss the problems the haute couture designer faced during implementation. Crutchlow will also cover a technical analysis of the network infrastructure the firm put in place and the different products it evaluated including firewalls, e-mail security, A/V solutions, back-up systems, and content filtering systems. Arruda will answer questions related to FBI involvement as it relates to cyber-security threats.

He was also formerly the Director of IT for Xicor. He has a BSBA Degree, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and Certification in Data Processing from the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals. He is also a certified SonicWALL Security Administrator and a Certified ONStor NAS Gateway Administrator and Installer.
Stacy Arruda, Supervisory Special Agent, FBI
Stacy M. Arruda was designated a Special Agent of the FBI in 1996. She is part of the Tampa Division as the SSA of the Cyber Crime Squad. In this capacity, Ms. Arruda is responsible for the Cyber Crime Program, which includes computer intrusions, Innocent Images, Internet fraud, and Intellectual Property Rights violations. SSA Arruda was recently invited to sit on the Professional Practices Advisory Council, convened by the Commissioner of Education for the State of Florida. Ms. Arruda has a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida.
