Agito Networks Customer Selected to Present on Enterprise Mobility at Leading Analyst Firm's Mobility Summit
Hertford Regional College to Present on Improving Indoor Coverage and Extending Mobile Unified Communications Capabilities to Mobile Workers
SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 12 -- Agito Networks, Inc.(TM), the company delivering innovative solutions in enterprise mobility, today announced that customer Hertford Regional College (HRC) has been selected to present at the Gartner Wireless, Networking & Communications Summit being held in San Diego from April 19 - 21.
Dr. Daniel Hidlebaugh, HRC Director of Network Services, will present an end-user case study session on improving indoor coverage and extending mobile Unified Communications to mobile workers at 5:30 pm on April 19. Selection of the speakers for the event was determined by Gartner analysts.
Since the early 1990s when it formed, HRC has grown in size, currently employing 900 staff and serving more than 12,000 full- and part-time students. After completing a $140 million construction project to update its facilities, including a 4-story building that covers half of a city block, HRC learned the new building materials do not allow cellular coverage indoors. Since mobile phone accessibility is critical to the college's staff, HRC turned to Agito's RoamAnywhere(TM) Mobility Router(TM) to not only provide indoor mobile coverage, but also cut the college's telecommunications expenses in half by moving calls off cellular and onto the college's free WiFi network.
