Flicktweets Re-Launching With New Features Including New Flicktweets iPhone App
NEW YORK, April 26 -- Flicktweets (http://www.flicktweets.com), the first website to organize movie tweets based on movie titles, has updated their site for a more user-friendly experience. The new Flicktweets site now filters and presents only the most relevant movie tweets. The site also allows site users to easily tweet their own reviews to the site, via a featured called "Tweet My Review."
Flicktweets also debuts its iPhone app this week. "Flicktweets has enhanced its offering giving both moviegoers and marketers more options. We know it helps moviegoers decide what they want to see. They now have more refined information at their disposal. And they can do it instantly with the new Flicktweets App," says David Larkin Managing Director of MRQE.com and Flicktweets.com.
Flicktweets understood from the beginning that filmgoers use real-time movie reviews to determine what to see when they are ready to see it. Now they get more filtered, organized information from Flicktweets. These site enhancements allow Flicktweets to stand apart from similar sites in key two areas; the organization of its tweets, and in the ability to find and highlight the most relevant tweets related to each title. Other key functions include; the ability to see tweets for upcoming films, a database of 80,000 titles, the ability to watch trailers, access to complete film details and the ability Tweet and publish film reviews. Flicktweets also provides each movie listing with their signature MRQE Critics' Graph and Metric Score (MRQE Metric is a number that averages the professional reviews of a film).
Flicktweets.com can be viewed on a mobile browser. The Flicktweets App is available on the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
About Flicktweets.com:
Launched in May 2009, Flicktweets was the first site to organize movie review tweets based on movie titles, and filter tweets for relevance. Working on the premise that real-time movie reviews can, and do, help people determine what movie to see, as they are ready to see it, Flicktweets is useful for both the undecided movie-goer, as well as movie studios interested in tracking initial responses to their releases. Flicktweets aggregates tweets for movies now playing, DVD/Blu-Ray releases, and upcoming films. A search bar allows users to find tweets for any movie. One does not need to be a Twitter user to enjoy the site, but all are encouraged to add their own reviews by signing up for a Twitter account. TheWrap.com has covered Flicktweets. MRQE.com, the Movie Review Query Engine, produces Flicktweets.
About MRQE.com, the Movie Review Query Engine:
MRQE.com, the Movie Review Query Engine is the Internet's largest online database for movie reviews, founded in 1993 by Stewart M. Clamen. The continually growing site provides a searchable index of all published and available movie reviews. MRQE aggregates reviews, news, interviews, and other material associated to specific movies. The combination of reviews + news + user discussion, all accessed through MRQE's search portal, allows any user to read and add to the Internet's most comprehensive collection of opinion about film. MRQE's partners include TCM.com (Turner Classic Movies), and EW.com (Entertainment Weekly).
