Flexible Integration of Communications Services
ANDTEK Offers Ideal and Efficient Infrastructure on Virtual Server
MUNICH and HALLBERGMOOS, Germany, May 3, 2010-- The entire portfolio of ANDTEK's unified communications solutions can run
on dedicated servers as well as virtual machines. This way companies have the
possibility to react extremely flexible to changing standards regarding their
business communication, they can concentrate IT resources and can use the
capacities of physical servers in a clearly more efficient way.
The unified communications specialist ANDTEK offers cross-functional
communication solutions (fixed network and mobile) to manage a large variety
of applications (among others voice recording, computer telephony, attendant
console).
Typically users run these communications solutions on a physical server
reserved exclusively for this purpose. Alternatively the communications
solutions can also be operated on a virtual machine being integrated in a
physical company server.
Among other things this virtualization offers advantages regarding cost
savings, green IT, capacity utilization, higher availability and flexibility.
And of course reduced costs for e.g. hardware, cooling systems, storage space
and energy.
"With virtual servers companies can not only integrate additional
communication services in a quick and easy way but also have the chance to
react flexible when requirements increase", says ANDTEK manager Roland
Russwurm.
The migration of ANDTEK's communications solutions from a hardware-based
server to a virtual machine is done trouble-free and quickly. It is possible
to integrate for example emergency broadcast systems into a communications
solution during normal day-to-day business or it is possible to use presence
functions for directory integration and manager/assistant services in a
running system.
