Kaplan IT Learning Launches Capture Point 2010 to Optimize Software Training Lesson Delivery for IT Training Programs
ATLANTA, May 4 -- Kaplan IT Learning, a leading provider of technology solutions enabling organizations to rapidly develop and deploy high quality e-Learning, today announced the launch of its newest version of Capture Point, the award winning software solution that Kaplan has attained from the recent acquisition of Atlantic Link, LTD.
The new product release, Capture Point 2010, includes a range of new features to improve the speed and accuracy of screen captures and simulations of software applications, as well as providing new functionality to make it easier for training professionals to develop e-Learning when training employees on software.
Capture Point 2010's recording engine now provides intelligent capture of numerous task fields saving training professionals hours of work with only minimal post-capture editing required. A fully featured image editor means images can be edited on-the-fly which is especially useful for masking sensitive data to meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
Additional features include a storyboard view which allows users to see all of the captured screens in a storyboard style layout, and multi-slide select and move, enabling lesson designers to efficiently create the most effective lesson flow.
"The new features in Capture Point 2010 offer significant benefits for users in terms of ease of use and speed of development," said Brian Sholly, President of Kaplan IT Learning. "Training professionals can create high-quality, fully-interactive Flash software simulations and IT training courses in minutes with this latest release. The new developments also demonstrate Kaplan's commitment to supporting and enhancing the Atlantic Link product range."
