IGN Wins Webby People's Voice!
IGN Daily Fix and Host Jessica Chobot take home the Webby People's Voice Award for Best Reality/Variety Host in the 14th Annual Webby Awards.
SAN FRANCISCO, May 4 -- After a record-breaking number of votes, the people have spoken: IGN's The Daily Fix and Host Jessica Chobot scored the coveted Webby People's Voice Award in the category of Best Reality/Variety Host in the 14th Annual Webby Awards! Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet including Websites, Interactive Advertising, Online Film & Video and Mobile.
Indicating the highest level of loyalty and commitment from the online community, The Webby People's Voice Award allows fans to vote for their favorite nominees and ultimately crown the People's Voice winners in each category. With nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 US states and over 60 countries around the world - and more than 700,000 votes cast in the Webby People's Voice Awards - The Daily Fix truly represents the best of the Web.

As a Webby People's Voice winner, IGN will be honored at the 14th Annual Webby Gala on June 14 at Cipriani Wall Street, where all winners will get to record a 5-word acceptance speech. The Gala will be hosted by B.J. Novak of NBC's "The Office," and special honorees will include Amy Poehler, OK Go, Vinton Cerf, Roger Ebert, and many more.
