RetireLife Launches New Website: Connecting with Aging Services Providers Online Just got Easier
BOSTON, May 10 -- Did you know that more than 30 million adult children are caregiving for aging parents in the US, and over half of these children live in a different state?
This geographic dispersion coupled with a highly fragmented, and localized industry makes it challenging to locate aging services providers. However, this is no longer the case as Megan Shea, through involvement with her own grandparents' care, decided to fix this problem by becoming founding member of RetireLife (http://www.retirelife.net).
RetireLife is the nation's most comprehensive online eldercare directory, with over 193,000 aging services providers listed across the continuum of needs. "While caring for my grandparents we continually found ourselves needing additional services, such as an elder law attorney or senior move manager, and struggled to find our options online," said Shea. RetireLife aims to connect individuals with local aging services providers easily online.
Additionally, aging services providers experience unique marketing challenges themselves. These providers must communicate on both a local and national level, which is often difficult to do. This is exactly why RetireLife offers marketing and business development support to aging services businesses. "Families and friends of seniors are often key players in helping their loved ones make important decisions and in obtaining the care they need. Our listing on RetireLife allows us to share current information about our services on both a local and national level," says Judy Dovev, Marketing Coordinator at Sophia Snow House.
RetireLife was founded in Massachusetts in early 2009 with one goal in mind: to help individuals connect with local aging services providers on a national level. Since then, this start-up has been growing quickly and has just re-launched their website. "We have experienced tremendous growth, and are excited to roll out our new web design, and look forward to all the growth initiatives planned for later this summer," says Shea. For more information, check out RetireLife at (http://www.retirelife.net).
RetireLife (http://www.retirelife.net) is the country's largest online aging services directory in the country. Offering adult children and caregivers information about Independent Living, Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Home Health Care, Adult Day Health Programs, Elder Law Attorneys, Senior Move Managers, Councils on Aging, and much more.
