Revision3 Signs off With Penn Jillette for the Highly-Anticipated Penn Point
Legendary Entertainer Brings His Act and Opinions to Revision3 Studios
SAN FRANCISCO, May 19 -- Revision3 (http://www.revision3.com), the leading Internet Television network, today announced the launch of Penn Point (http://www.revision3.com/pennpoint), featuring the always no-holds-barred opinions and thoughts of performer, writer, actor, inventor, magician, illusionist and libertarian Penn Jillette.
Penn Point will cover a spectrum of topics from politics, celebrities, popular culture and technology that is sweeping the nation... anything top of mind for Penn as well as the general public. For its first week, Penn will focus on topics including Seth MacFarlane and the Tea Party, a brand new Penn and Teller trick and his thoughts on the iPad. Each program will run three to seven minutes in a continuous rant-like format that has Penn ruminating and analyzing any particular topic. The show will premiere Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9 AM ET and new episodes will be released Monday through Thursday weekly.
"I'm really jacked up about working with Revision3 on my new online show Penn Point," said Penn Jillette. "I'm saying and shooting whatever I want, wherever I want and the team at Revision3 is just going to make it better in edit. We've been working on the first few episodes and they're really kick-ass and I can't wait to do more."
"Penn Point is an unfiltered look at the world through the eyes of Penn Jillette," said Ryan Vance, Vice President of Programming & Production, Revision3. "We are excited to bring his huge following of fans a regular dose of all things Penn with Penn Point. Penn is one of the most intelligent guys I've ever met and his insightful and often controversial opinions will be a great fit for our audience."
