FreeWave Technologies Announces Latest Version of Tool Suite Software
Software now offers several enhanced features, including radio support for most currently released Plus series radios
BOULDER, Colo., May 19 -- FreeWave Technologies, (http://www.freewave.com/), manufacturer of the most reliable, high-performance spread spectrum and licensed radios for critical data transmission, today announced several updates to its Tool Suite(TM) platform management system. Tool Suite allows users to manage their radio configuration and network diagnostics, and is free to all FreeWave customers. The software is ideal for use across all markets, including oil and gas, water/wastewater, electric power, irrigation/agriculture, cathodic protection and solar/wind power.
"In order to provide the easiest and most efficient way to manage FreeWave radios, we have continued to update the Tool Suite software based on our customers' needs," explained Ken Granader, vice president of sales at FreeWave. "In addition to diagnostics and configuration improvements, we added support for several new radios in the latest version."
The new updates to Tool Suite include:
-- Additional radio support for several series of FreeWave radios,
including FGR2-PE, I2 Plus and IP mini.
-- Improved configuration and network diagnostics such as updates to tree
view, revised network selection and a network settings report with
expanded capabilities of exporting a csv file.
-- New auto clean feature for each network.
-- Network loading optimization.
-- Support for FreeWave's IO Expansion modules and CP DataLogger
software.
The latest version of Tool Suite is available now. Existing Tool Suite customers can download the updated version by clicking on the "Updates" button in the lower left hand corner of their Tool Suite application. Customers who want to download Tool Suite for the first time need to contact FreeWave's Technical Support Department (see contact information below) and request a customer log-in.
