Palisades Launches New Mobile Website
- Mobile website accessible via all Internet-capable mobile devices - Online policy management tool features user-friendly interface - Registered policyholders can make payments, view policy information, report a claim
BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., May 25 -- Palisades, the nice New Jersey car insurance company, has introduced a new mobile website, http://m.palisades.com/, enabling policyholders to manage their accounts through any Internet-capable mobile device. Prospective clients can use the Agent Locator to find nearby Palisades agents.
"Mobile devices are quickly becoming a popular way for customers to access the internet and web based applications," said Palisades CEO Ed Fernandez. "Our new mobile site provides another option to make it easier and more convenient to do business with Palisades."
The new Palisades mobile site features a user-friendly interface developed by Conmio (http://www.conmio.com), a software and services company, which also powers the mobile websites of the New York Times and National Public Radio (NPR). With a single click, a prospective insurance customer can easily find a Palisades agent.
"Development in the interactive space is a long-term commitment for Palisades, and we will continue to enhance our current applications as well as create new conveniences and content," said Fernandez.
One of the featured applications on the new mobile site is the "Manage My Policy" portal, an online account management tool that enables payments on personal auto policies with a single click. It also offers coverage details and billing information as well as click-to-call technology to immediately report an accident to Palisades claim center.
According to Fernandez, the mobile website is only one way Palisades provides its customers with options. "Whether our customers want to visit their agent for personalized coverage guidance or quickly make a mobile payment, Palisades provides multiple options to suit the preferences of each individual."
