Teliris Launches 3D Telepresence Solution and Collaboration Tool for New Level of Realism
Teliris' 6G Platform Allows Seamless Integration of 3D and 2D Systems
LAS VEGAS, June 9 -- Teliris (http://www.teliris.com), the world's most widely deployed fully managed telepresence and collaboration solutions, today announced its 3D telepresence solution to deliver a new level of realism through a three-dimensional meeting experience.
Uniquely designed for demanding visual collaboration needs, Teliris 3D Telepresence(TM) delivers true-to-life depth perception, dimension and perspective view through its full high definition video and innovative stereoscopic camera technology. The solution also features the ability to switch between 2D and 3D meeting modes for easy interoperability across all Teliris solutions, as well as traditional videoconferencing or other telepresence systems.
Available in one, two or three display configurations, Teliris 3D Telepresence maintains the accurate eye-contact characteristic of all Teliris solutions for single and multiple location meetings through pairing its patented vectoring and 3D technology.
"There is an obvious value that a highly realistic 3D experience brings for specific applications, but it's the extensible nature of Teliris' platform that delivers an unmatched advantage for our customers to integrate existing systems as well as have the flexibility to utilize 3D or 2D as needed," said Marc Trachtenberg, Teliris CEO and co-founder.
Teliris also launched today its first three-dimensional collaboration tool, Teliris InterACT 3D Presentation(TM), allowing real-time 3D presentation viewing and sharing for complex visualizations. Compatible with the Teliris InterACT DocCam(TM), live objects can be captured and then viewed in 3D. As with Teliris' 3D telepresence solution, the new collaboration tool can switch between 2D and 3D views.
Teliris 3D Telepresence and Teliris InterACT 3D Presentation will be generally available in October 2010.
