I'm using the base Ubuntu at my new house and it is very nice. Bootup time (past POST) is in seconds and login is also a second. They really speed things up and the bigger change is the KMS which means no resolution switching craziness and such. The monitor won't flicker on bootup. There's more cool stuff going on, but most of it you don't notice since it is the backend.
ok so i had a look in the kernel log and there is some stuff to do with it going on standby but i don't understand any of it really so i don't know whether you could have a look at it?
I have read all of Tamora's books that take place in Tortall, and I have got to say that this is one of the best I have ever read.
The book starts out just before the Alanna the Lioness Quartet, when George Cooper (a descendant of Beka's) is six and is arrested for stealing by the Provost's Guard. His mother Elani then tells him the story of his famous ancestress, and we see in this book how her early career in the Guard starts off.
All in all, a great read and one that will keep you stuck to the book until you are done. I would recommend it to anyone who likes books about magic and/or fiction. of course, if you have read her other books that are famous Tortallans, you will definitely enjoy this book!
Errmm, these are the instructions I used http://www.wowtunnels.com/instructions_32bit_manual
Im not too sure how it works, I just know it does. I set up the application through freecap as starcraft insted of Warcraft though. I should find a free server soon, or set one up at home as you say. the problem is, my connection at home isnt great, like 2.2mb download and 0.5mb upload, so that would pretty much rule out multiplayer aswell. Before I tried this, I couldnt connect to battle.net servers at all, just got the battle.net is down message.

This is the proposed update that is supposed to make current 360 owners give a shit about Kinect, right? From what I've seen in leaks, it looks alright, I guess.
